A lot of people think that digital marketing is the solution to a lot of problems, and that offline marketing should only be considered in the circumstances where there are exceptional circumstances that don’t apply to digital.
For example, if someone is selling to brick and mortar retailers and
marketing to them using online marketing techniques, then I’m not necessarily
against that offline marketing. I am however asking the question whether
digital is being prioritized.
If a business is a hybrid between digital and offline marketing, it is a digital business. If it is a digital business that is exclusively focused on offline marketing it is a traditional marketing business. In both scenarios, digital is clearly the preferred route. If you’re in a business that is entirely digital, then you’re running an entirely digital business.
If you’re not interested in using digital marketing strategies in any part of your marketing strategy, then you can always create a website, and talk to people through social media.
This is the conventional wisdom, and it is a pervasive misconception, that digital marketing strategies are not relevant for offline marketing.
In fact, a lot of traditional marketing is focused on offline marketing. This means it is in all honesty really digital marketing, but only when used in an online business.
Some business owners give the excuse that they don’t know how to do traditional marketing, so they don’t have any solutions to offline marketing problems. But that is not a justification. It is just an excuse.
If your business is digital and you are not offering a digital solution to offline marketing problems, then you are not doing your job.
Every business should be able to offer a solution to all of the people that it reaches online. That means online marketing, offline marketing, and online marketing with offline marketing. That is the same as your marketing strategy, but for a hybrid of different areas.
This creates a double opportunity for marketing, and there are two types of marketing activities that I can think of.
Digital marketing
Digital marketing is predominantly digital, but is sometimes supplemented with offline marketing. Digital marketing is about selling directly to consumers online, and then providing other solutions online.
Offline marketing
Digital marketing is predominantly digital, but offline marketing can be supplemented with digital marketing. Offline marketing is primarily about advertising to consumers, and then providing other solutions online.
The first type of marketing involves taking advantage of the latest digital marketing trends. The second type of marketing involves taking advantage of traditional marketing trends.
Digital marketing includes every form of online marketing. It also includes offline marketing, which can either be digital, or offline marketing.
It’s a mistake to think of offline marketing as only digital marketing, because that is not true.
A lot of people think that offline marketing only means offline marketing.
They are just marketing differently, but in digital terms. But that’s
not a positive thing. If you are primarily marketing in digital marketing, you
can take advantage of all of the new digital marketing trends.
